BIRMINGHAM.' and gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, right wall thickness at 19-, treble-grip action, left-opening toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, left-handed triggers, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, bright and blued finish overall, 15 3/8in. figured stock (cast on for the left shoulder, minor setting crack to rear of left lockplate), weight 6lb. 7oz.
