circa 1850, with browned damascus 30in. barrels rifled for Jacobs four-winged bullet, broad flat top-rib signed 'WILLIAM PARSON, SWAFFHAM, NORFOLK', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, rear-sight of three flush-folding leaves, colour hardened scroll engraved breech-ends with platinum vented plugs, fully engraved colour hardened top-tang, border and scroll engraved colour hardened locks with sliding safes to the bars and signed 'WILLIAM PARSON', chequered walnut half-stock with colour-hardened gamescene engraved patch-box to right hand side of butt, blued and engraved iron furniture and heavy duty brass mounted mahogany ramrod, the whole retaining much original colour and finish throughout
