for 1908-12, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 1990), the rib engraved 'CHARLES HELLIS & SON. 119 EDGWARE ROAD. HYDE PARK. LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with silver-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, action and recessed decorative sideplates with border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 7oz.
