A BRITISH MIDSHIPMAN'S PATTERN 1887 NAVAL DIRK, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
possibly circa World War One, with straight spearpoint 18in. blade etched with arabesques and scrolls around a King's crown and anchor device on the right face and similar but with the 'G.v.R.' Royal cypher on the left (blade lightly cleaned), plain forte with Star of David to reverse, brass 'S' shaped cross-guard with acorn finials, brown leather grip with wire binding and brass back-strap with integral lionshead pommel, complete with its brass mounted brown leather scabbard with integral locking catch and a later bullion portapee knot
