THOS. EVANS 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 1921, circa 1920, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2004), the rib engraved 'THOS. EVANS. CITY GUN WORKS. BIRMINGHAM.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. choke in both, treble-grip action, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, bold acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 8oz.
