** AUG. FRANCOTTE BTE.12-BORE HAND-DETACHABLE SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 87512, dated 1932, 29 5/8in. nitro barrels with matt rib, right tube engraved 'AUG. FRANCOTTE BTE.' (left tube engraving illegible), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, manual safety, hand-detachable lockplates, articulated front trigger, border engraving, the lockplates with 'DEMOUNTABLE ANSON FRANCOTTE PATENT LIEGE - BELGIQUE', the left lockplate with 'ARMER AVANT DEMONTAGE' encircling the lockplate release catch, losses and discolouration to metalwork and finish, 14in. pistolgrip stock including 1in. wooden extension, broad beavertail fore-end, weight 8lb. 1oz.
