circa 1904 and 1906, 30in. Rigby trademark nitro barrels, the ribs engraved in gothic script 'Jno. Rigby & Co. 72 St. James's Street. London.' and '1' and '2' towards the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx, true cyl. and 3/4 choke (No.1) and imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke (No.2), minor bulges No.2, treble-grip actions with removable striker discs, toplevers engraved '1' and '2' and 'PATENT', intercepting sears, automatic safeties with brass 'SAFE' plaques, bold border and acanthus scroll engraving, the triggerguards with '1' and '2', retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening No.1, 15 5/8in. well-figured stocks including buttplates, weight 6lb. 12oz. (No.1) and 6lb. 14oz. (No.2), in an alloy flight case
