A 12-BORE 'IMPERIAL EJECTOR' SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 13106,
circa 1897, 28in. nitro reproved barrels, the rib engraved 'LANG & HUSSEY LD. 102. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' (rubbed) and gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators (inlay missing left tumbler pivot), fine border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the underside with 'IMPERIAL EJECTOR' in an oval cartouche, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock (likely historic replacement), weight 6lb. 12oz.
