LONDON', dove-tailed fore-sight (blade lacking), standing notch rear-sight with two additional folding leaves, London proofs, 'J.B' maker's mark and additional number '1816' on the hook, rounded iron open receiver with border and scroll engraving, the inner face incorrectly numbered '2727', standing breech formed from a separate piece, central hammer with articulated nose (needle lacking), chequered walnut butt-stock, iron heel-plate, push-forwards under-lever forwards of the trigger guard bow and chequered walnut beaver-tail fore-end with cross-key fixing, traces of finish
