** R. & W. G. RAINE BROS 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 6760, circa 1930, 25in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'R. & W. G. RAINE BROS. CARLISLE', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, dented, treble-grip action with carved stylised acanthus fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. stock including 1 1/4in. ventilated rubber recoil pad (cracked at hand), weight 6lb. 1oz.
