circa 1815, with round turn-off 1 5/8in. barrels, engraved bands at muzzles, border and foliate engraved rounded actions with Birmingham proof marks, right sides engraved 'LONDON' and 'LACY & CO' to left sides, central ring-necked cocks within tang-mounted push forward safety catches (also locking the pans), finely chequered walnut bag-shaped grips, vacant white metal rectangular clipped corner escutcheons and engraved white metal pommel caps, concealed automatic triggers, both darkly stained overall
