dated 1860, with 29 1/2in. sighted barrel with proof and inspection marks, receiver bridge with mark designation of 'II / * / *' overstamped with 'N/I\Z / 88 / 267', shoe with Broad Arrow, 'WD' and inspection mark, lock with crown over 'V.R' and '1860' with lock-viewer's mark, full walnut stock, top of wrist stamped 'N/I\Z / 88 / 267', New Zealand Broad Arrow roundel to right of butt, brass furniture, compete with sling swivels, clearing rod and a later leather sling, heavy service wear, exposed iron surfaces with light surface corrosion
