SINGLE-BARRELLED SIDELEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 17386 / 8733, circa 1900, 28 1/2in. nitro reproved octagonal barrel (in 1980, loose), with matted sighting flat, 2 1/2in. chamber, bored approx. true cyl., sidelever opening, rebounding hammer, plain action, 14 1/4in. stock including steel buttplate, Hackett-type snap-on splinter fore-end, weight 4lb. 4oz.
