Siemens Martin steel nitro barrels (loose, some dents, bulges and light pits), wave-cut matt rib, the breech-end gold-inlaid 'ADOLF FRANK. HAMBURG.', the breech-ends of the tubes with gold-inlaid bands, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with carved percussion fences, toplever gold-inlaid with a fox?, rebounding hammers, the left hammer a replacement, acanthus scroll engraving with gold-inlaid scenes of hound flushing fox and rabbit, the triggerguard with gold-inlaid deer in a woodland setting, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. pistolgrip stock with horn pistolgrip cap, cheekpiece, sling swivels, including buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge type release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 11oz.
