circa 1967, with grey phosphated 12 1/2in. body, the turret mount marked '3X 9X' over 'A R TEL SER NO 0866', zoom ring forwards of the ocular bell with oversized protector, the ocular bell signed 'REDFIELD DENVER COLORADO U.S.A.' and 'PAT. 3161716 OR 2949816', centre of mass graticule, in a possibly later alloy side-mount with large affixing thumb-wheel and numbered '6835', in its olive green shaped aluminium transit case with belt fitting (one lid catch absent)
