circa 1913, 8 1/2in. overall with adjustable side-bracket (not serial numbered to a rifle), the squared body marked 'TELESCOPIC MUSKET SIGHT, MODEL OF 1913, No. 2778' and 'THE WARNER & SWASEY CO. CLEVELAND OHIO USA' and with patents from 1908 to 1913, applied windage correction chart to top of body, the ocular lens with provision for a soft rubber eye-cup (present but hardened and detached), ranging reticule and with its leather transit case with belt attachment, the reverse stamped 'DIAMOND 'D'' over 'A.B.D.', the front with pocket for a flat wrench (absent) and complete with shoulder strap
