dated 1892, 30in. nitro reproved Metford rifled barrel (in 2026, minimal marked with certificate), adjustable ladder rear sight, ramped blade fore-sight with sliding sight protector, bolt with dust cover and shrouded bolt head, no safety, oval cocking piece, turned down bolt handle, magazine cut-off detachable single-stack magazine with retaining link, front and rear long range volley sights, the butt stock collar marked 'V.R.' under crown. 1892. I.', retaining some original blued finish, three-quarter length stock with finger grooves, 13 1/4in. pull including brass buttplate with trapdoor, weight 9lb. 9oz.
