YORK.' and '.300' at the breech end, matted sighting flats, open rear sight with two folding leaf sights, marked for 50, 100 and 150 yards and with white metal inlaid sight lines, dove-tailed bead fore-sight, removable striker disc, non-selective ejector, automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' detail, acanthus scroll engraving, retaining much seemingly original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. pistolgrip stock with pistolgrip-cap, Hackett-type snap-on splinter fore-end with horn finial, weight 4lb. 4oz., in a canvas and leather guncase
