SINGLE-SHOT MATCH RIFLE, serial no. 4095, circa 1902, 32in. octagonal fluted nitro barrel, tunnel fore-sight, rear tang folding peep-sight, set triggers, slab-sided receiver signed 'RUD ELMER' on the right in white-metal letters and 'ST ELMER' in a similar fashion on the left, Martini-Braendlin type action, Swiss-style butt-stock with large cheek-piece and heavy crescent butt-plate, finger-spurred and gripped under-lever forming the trigger-guard, right stock with silver plaque marked 'KARL ROTH BAZEL'
