for 1907, 23 3/8in. replacement nitro barrel engraved in gothic script 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 13 PALL MALL. LONDON. S.W.1' and acanthus scrollwork at the nocksform, ramp-mounted open sights with two folding leaf sights maked for 100, 200 and 300 yds, ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, scroll-engraved receiver-ring with the calibre designation, the receiver (with thumb cutout) marked 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER-OBERNDORF A/N' and with further later acanthus work and file cut finish to the square bridge, recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release, later acanthus scroll engraving with central gold-inlaid oval vignette of a lion and initialled by the engraver, replacement pistolgrip stock with steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), engraved steel sling button, 14 3/8in. pull including recoil pad, weight 8lb. 12oz.
