circa 1914, with expertly re-blued octagonal 27in. Parker-Rifled barrel (to original chambering), the first 6 1/2in. and the last 5 1/2in. of top-flat file-cut, the right side top-flat signed 'WILLIAM EVANS', the left '63 PALL MALL ST. JAMES'S LONDON', dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two further folding leaves, borderline and scroll engraved break-open receiver well re-coloured, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock, ribbed heel, colour hardened grip-cap, chequered walnut snap-on fore-end with horn tip, blued furniture, the whole restored to an extremely high standard throughout
