Nickel Supra 4x36 L81 E/S telescopic sight, serial no. 17459, in quickly-detachable mounts, the forward ring engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND NO. 17780', the sunken rib engraved '7M/M "MAGNUM" FLANGED CARTRIDGE', the under rib engraved 'MADE IN ENGLAND', the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', treble-grip action with hidden third bite and removable striker discs, elongated top strap with bolted automatic safety, gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, chequered front trigger, finely carved Royal scroll engraving on a matted background, the action beads with ornate bordering, the lockplates and underside with bold stylised art nouveau ribbon and garland motifs, the underside with an elaborate cartouche with 'THE ROYAL HAMMERLESS', some renewed colour-hardening 14 1/2in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), weight 9lb. 1oz.
