circa 1890, with octagonal 26in. barrel signed on the top-flat 'CHAS. GOLDEN, CHEAPSIDE, BRADFORD', dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with twin additional folding leaves, borderline engraved receiver marked 'W. TRANTER'S PATENT' in an oval on the left face, roller-button to open below the fore-end, exposed hammer, chequered walnut straight hand butt-stock with smooth iron heel-plate and no provision for fore-end, traces of finish and colour only
