circa 1890, 29 1/8in. nitro reproved barrels, tubes engraved 'EMIL ADAM. BERLIN.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, Collath patent action, Lefaucheux-type forward-facing underlever, fixed integral fore-end, manual 'wingnut' safety, horn triggerguard, action carved in relief with scenes of hound flushing game on the left, the right with fox worrying fowl, and with foliate motifs, the rear of the action with a scrolling banner engraved 'W. COLLATH' and 'FRANKFURT A/O', brushed finish, 13 3/4in. stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, including buttplate, weight 6lb. 6oz.
