SAML EBRALL 12-BORE ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 1822, circa 1870, converted from pinfire, 30in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'SAMUEL EBRALL. SHREWSBURY. PRIZE MEDAL. INTERNATIONAL. EXHIBITION. LONDON. 1862.', the breech-end with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl., rotary-underlever, back-action locks with non-rebounding hammers, border and scroll engraving, 14 3/8in. figured stock (smashed through at hand), including steel buttplate, fore-end with cross-pin release catch (pin missing)
