dated 1797, with 37in sighted re-browned round barrel, regulation pattern 'banana' lock signed 'NOCK' (feint), inspectors mark of a no. '1' surmounted by a crown, 'EIC' and the date '1797' to the tail, walnut full-stock with brass furniture (side-plate and trigger guard with old repairs), steel heel-plate, sling-swivels and replacement ramrod (metal-work discoloured, brass-work heavily polished)
