circa 1850, with etched damascus 28in barrels (pitted and cleaned), scroll engraved decoration to side-ribs at muzzle, scroll and fish-scale decoration to foresight base, 'C' scroll decoration to rearsight base (one leaf missing from rearsight), gold inlaid in black-letter script near the breech 'I ADAM KUCHENREUTER IN REGENSBURG' (small losses to inlay), silver poincon with initials 'IAK' and silver line at breech, long, scroll engraved top tang with concealed peep-sight, scroll engraved back-action locks with game-scenes of deer in a woodland setting, roller safety catches removed, scroll engraved hammers, walnut half-stock with fancy chequering at wrist, fancy ornate patch-box engraved with scrolls and a deer on right side of stock, steel long-spurred heel-plate with scroll engraving, raised cheek-piece with a carving of a hunter in a rocky setting surrounded by vines behind, fancy wooden, scrolled and spurred trigger guard with a inset steel engraved tang to the front, set triggers, fancy bordered and scroll engraved finial and forend cap, sling swivels and side mounted original ramrod (iron surfaces pitted and cleaned)
