A RARE 7.63 (MAUSER) FULLY-AUTOMATIC MACHINE-PISTOL, MODEL 'E', serial no. 34029,
circa 1950, with blued, sighted 6 1/2in. barrel, tangent rear-sight graduated to 1000 metres, the frame marked on the left hand side 'ASTRA AUTOMATIC PISTOL CAL 7.63' and 'PATENTED JULY 12 1928' together with the makers address, selector with positions for '1' and '20' on the right hand side, wood grips with 12 grooves and lanyard ring to base (the whole retaining a good proportion of its original finish, 20 round magazine), TOGETHER WITH its original un-numbered shoulder stock-holster (iron parts discoloured, wood re-varnished)
Provenance: Only 549 Model 'E' pistols were produced between 1949 and 1960.
