circa 1770, with turn-off iron 5in. triple-banded cannon barrels, signed 'LONDON' terminating in engraved arabesques at the breech-ends, London proofs and makers mark 'RW' together with the signature 'WILSON' to the undersides of the breech, engraved iron top-tangs, rounded boxlock actions, 'L' shaped frizzen-springs, un-hallmarked silver furniture including short-tailed butt-caps with grotesque masks, rococco escutcheons to wrists and pierced martial trophy side-plates and double roll-edged trigger-guard bows forming the safety catches
