28in. nitro barrels with 9mm solid top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, toplever pierced with a crouching dragon, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, the action and furniture carved with bold acanthus scrollwork set against a matt background, the underside with a finely carved vignette of a skein of fowl taking flight from a wetland setting, the lockplates carved and gold-highlighted with further feather and fowl flushed from their naturalistic habitats, signed 'A. Galeazzi', 14in. figured stock including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 2oz., in a tan leather case
Other Notes: In 1960 Daniele Perazzi went into business with a Fiat-trained automotive engineer, Ivo Fabbri. Inspired by the great English over and under guns of Boss and Woodward, their vision was to apply modern production techniques to these timeless classics. The partnership ran until 1965 when they parted ways.
Due to this short-lived partnership examples of their collaborative work are quite rare, and good examples are sought after.
