circa 1880, with triple staged 7in. barrels, the muzzles scroll engraved and faceted for the last 1 1/2in., moulded bands at the intersection, the breeches with longitudinal flutes, the centre sections scroll engraved, carved snails with platinum vents, fully scroll engraved locks signed 'WESTLEY RICHARDS' within a flowing banner, border and scroll engraved 'ramshorn' shaped butts with screw-retained prickers in the heel, ball triggers and scroll engraved fore-ends, scroll engraved belt-hooks with pierced and engraved feet and turned pan-headed ramrods (some mild staining and cleaning); TOGETHER WITH a later oak storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize and containing a modern flask and other accessories and an antique scissors ball-mould, the case lid with reproduction parchment trade label
