circa 1835, with smoothbore 16in. barrel, Birmingham proofs at breech, full-length hollow-ground triangular cross-section sprung bayonet mounted to the top of barrel, pull-back release catch to top-tang, flat borderline engraved flintlock-style lockplate signed 'BIRMINGHAM BOROUGH GOAL' (sic), walnut full-stock with large broad arrow stamp to left hand side of butt, brass furniture including heel-plate, twin-screwed trigger-guard tang, side-nail cups, ramrod pipes and nose-cap, complete with its original brass-tipped iron ramrod
