A CASED .303 (BRIT) BOLT-MAGAZINE SNIPER RIFLE, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'No4T', serial no. G34894,
The rifle dated for 1944, with 25 1/2in. barrel, blacked receiver mounted with threaded pads for a No. 32 telescope, elevating rear-battle-sight, dove-tailed fore-sight with side protectors, walnut butt-stock with applied beech cheek-rest, alloy heel-plate, three-quarter length fore-stock with correct four-groove top-cover, in fine condition and fitted with a later '08 pattern leather sling; TOGETHER WITH a No15 Mark I transit case for the same rifle with paper contents label pasted inside the lid, a No32 MKIII telescopic sight serial no. 25657 complete with its leather lens covers, numbered mounting bracket (possibly later) and matching metal-lined canvas carry-case dated 1946, a pair of 6x30 issue binoculars in a Pattern '37 carry-case, and a Scout Regiment three-drawer telescope with stippled brown painted external finish in its leather case, no. 25226
