Belgian, in the style of a Webley R.I.C. '83, with ovoid 4in. barrel, applied crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the solid top-strap, traces of a rubbed Belgian proof-mark to right side of barrel throat, six-shot cylinder with external ratchet locking to rear and marked 'R.D.' within an oval to front face, solid frame with hinged loading gate and flat-fronted cylinder arbor, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grips, guarded trigger and lanyard ring at heel, in a later pine box lined and compartmented in green baize
