A SCARCE CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION BEAUMONT ADAMS REVOLVER WITH BRAZIER RAMMER, serial no. 26834,
circa 1860, with octagonal 5 3/4in. blued barrel, engraved band at muzzle, the border engraved top-strap signed 'DEANE & SON, 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE', dove-tailed fore-sight and standing notch rear, borderline engraved five shot cylinder with traces of colour (casting flaw along one side), borderline and scroll engraved solid frame, double action mechanism with guarded trigger and spurred hammer, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip and mounted with Brazier's Patent articulated rammer (use no. 546) to left side of barrel, much finish remaining, together with its brass mounted mahogany case lined and compartmented in green baize and including an Adam's patent mould, bag-shaped flask, mahogany loading rod, oil bottle, nipple key, felt Eley cap-bag and lubricating compound
