A CASED 80-BORE PERCUSSION BENTLEY PATENT FIVE-SHOT SELF-COCKING REVOLVER, no visible serial number,
circa 1852, with well reblued 5in. octagonal barrel, small bead fore-sight, standing rear-sight notch to the recoil shield, borderline and scroll engraved open iron frame, spurless hammer with Bentley's patent hammer safe, well recoloured plain cylinder, finely chequered walnut grips with saw-handle spur to back-strap and Kerr patent rammer to left side of barrel, in a period mahogany case lined and compartmented in blue baize and including a small flask, a 54-bore mould, a nipple-key, turn-screw, oil-bottle, ebony loading rod and cap-tin
