LONDON' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, treble-grip actions with removable striker discs, carved stylised leaf fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the makers name in scrolling banners to the sides, the left lockplates with uniform floral engraved panel inserts and 'SAFE' wording over-engraved (originally intended for side safeties), the triggerguards gold-inlaid '1' and '2', brushed and blued finish, 14 5/8in. semi-pistolgrip stocks including 3/8in. wooden buttplates, No.2 fore-end wood cracked, weight 5lb. 6oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
