circa 1862 and later converted from percussion, with round 6in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, two-piece hinged iron frame, plain cylinder numbered '15107', double action mechanism with selectable trigger blade for trigger cocking only, smooth one-piece walnut grip with martial cartouche (small loss to toe, heavy bruising to underside of heel) and articulated under-barrel rammer, refinished
