A COMPOSED PAIR OF 12-BORE 'SHOT & REGULATED BY HOLLAND & HOLLAND' BOXLOCK EJECTORS, serial no. 37623 / 37627,
for 1969 and consisting of two guns paired up from a batch of 8 made, 28in. nitro barrels, the tubes engraved 'SHOT & REGULATED BY HOLLAND & HOLLAND LTD. 13 BRUTON STREET. LONDON. W.1.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, automatic safeties with inlaid 'SAFE' details, partial scroll engraving, the actions engraved 'H & H.' to the sides, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 7/8in. stocks including 3/4in. ventilated rubber recoil pads, weight 6lb. 7oz. and 6lb. 10oz., in their lightweight leather motor case

Provenance: The makers have kindly supplied the vendor with a letter and a copy of the entry in the record books, confirming that the guns were two of a batch of eight, sold to a Mr G.K. Kelly in 1969. The documents are supplied with the Lot mounted in a glazed frame, together with a glazed frame mounted copy of Holland & Holland 'The Cavalier' sales brochure
