circa 1943-44, 25 3/8in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2026, with proof certificate), adjustable ladder rear sight with folding anti-aircraft wings, block and blade fore-sight with side protectors, barrel numbered 057 on the underside and 960 to the left side under rear sight, take-down action, centre parts numbered 960, receiver with intact chrysanthemum, model designation in Japanese characters, single vent hole, straight-handled bolt numbered 075, knurled cocking piece / safety, Mauser-style bolt release, blued finish, three-quarter length two-piece semi-pistolgrip stock, sling swivels, 12 1/2in. pull including steel buttplate, weight 8lb. 12oz.
