W.C.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with Westley Richards style toplever, automatic safety with blue enamel 'SAFE' detail, intercepting sears, fully engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork with ornate bordering, the sides with scrolling banners engraved 'E. J. CHURCHILL', the underside with the 'EJC' monogram, brushed and reblued finish overall, 14 7/8in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock including 1 1/8in. spacers/recoil pad, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 6lb. 13oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
