(faint), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, scoop-backed treble-grip action, removable striker discs, toplever silver inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name in a scrolling banner, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and much renewed blued finish, 14 1/4in. figured stock with recessed chequered side panels, fore-end finial silver inlaid '1', weight 6lb. 9oz., in a single leather guncase
