A CASED .30 (RIMFIRE) SHARPS PATENT DERRINGER FOUR-BARRELLED PISTOL SIGNED TIPPING & LAWDEN, serial no. 1776,
circa 1872, with 3in. barrel-group (finish faded), plain brass frame signed 'TIPPING & LAWDEN SHARP'S PATENT' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on the left hand side, centrally mounted hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose, smooth maple-wood grips and a long bar push button opener below the fore-end, contained in a mahogany storage case with rounded corners compartmented and lined in blue burgundy velvet and including a period cleaning rod
