for 2010, 30in. replacement high performance steel proof nitro monobloc barrels (in 2023) with 6mm solid raised matt top-rib, the left side engraved 'DAVID McKAY BROWN UGIE LODGE LONGSIDE SCOTLAND' and with deeply carved ornamental scroll at the breech end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, action incorporating British Design Registration no. 2023402 of July 23rd 1992, hold-open toplever, automatic safe with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail carved in celtic script, the action and furniture profusely carved in high relief with ornate celtic scroll and insular zoomorphic knotwork, the screwheads with sun or flower motifs, the fore-end carved en suite and with 'david McKay Brown' carved in celtic script in an elaborate cartouche with matted background, retaining much original colour-hardening, 15in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock, weight 7lb. 9oz.
