MADE IN ENGLAND', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, right wall at 19, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening, 15 1/8in. highly-figured burr walnut replacement stock and matching fore-end, weight 6lb. 8oz., in a modern leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was ordered in 1929 with 29in. barrels by W.H. Wheelock of New York as a gift for his son-in-law Donald Percy.
