circa 1795, with slightly swamped 9 1/2in. barrels, the top-flats signed 'KNUBLEY LONDON', small crescent fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights on the solid scroll engraved top-tangs, engraved bands at breech, borderline engraved bevel-edged locks signed 'KNUBLEY', sliding safes behind the border carved hammers, roller bearings to the frizzen springs, plain walnut full-stocks with bag-shaped butts, iron furniture including florally engraved trigger-guard bows, pineapple finials, twin non-escutcheoned take-down wedges and provision for ramrods (missing), one pistol broken through at ramrod throat and repaired, traces of finish to both
