circa 1872-74, with round 8in. barrel, the raised sighting rib signed and marked with patents to 'AUG 24. 69', fluted cylinder, plain break-open frame with automatic ejection and manual over-ride, 'un-notched' hammer and smooth walnut flared grips with flat bases, the whole being an older re-nickel TOGETHER WITH an un-associated green leatherette case with rounded corners and gilded borders, the interior blocked for this pistol in the continental style and lined in green velvet (hinges at fault)
