28in. nitro 12-bore shot barrels with 8mm raised matt top-rib, wooden side fillets, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full and extra full choke; scroll back quadruple-grip action with side-bolsters, manual safety, gold pin cocking-indicators, set front trigger, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, the side bolsters carved in high relief with thistle motifs on a matted background, the underside with a scrolling banner engraved 'SUHLER WAFFENWERK GEBRUDER MERKEL, SUHL', old silver finish, 14 5/8in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, horn drop points and buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, weight 7lb. 5oz.
