26in. nitro barrels with side-ribs and raised tapered matt top-rib, over barrel engraved 'BOSS & CO. 41 ALBERMARLE STREET. PICCADILLY. LONDON. W. MADE IN ENGLAND.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and 1/4 choke, hold-open toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, removable striker discs, cocking-indicators, incorporating Boss patent barrel locking action, patent no. 3307 of 10th February 1909, Boss patent improved ejector mechanism, patent no. 3308 of 10th February 1909, Boss improved patent single-trigger, patent no. 11278 of 10th May 1905, rolled-edge triggerguard, best fine acanthus scroll and floral bouquet engraving, retaining much colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stock, weight 6lb. 8oz., in its lightweight leather case.
