circa 1865, with Birmingham proved blued side-by-side 3in. multi-groove rifled barrels, the top-rib signed 'THOS. HORSLEY, YORK', engraved bands at muzzles and breech, borderline and scroll engraved colour hardened boxlock side hammer action with radiused corners, Lefaucheux-style swing underlever barrel latch, engraved colour hardened hammers, chequered walnut grip, engraved colour hardened domed grip-cap and trigger guard to the double triggers, the whole remaining in apparently unfired condition with nearly all finish intact
